Wed 4 Jan 5:00 PM.   A resident of Park Pl reports 2 packages containing foot wear were stolen from his property.

Sun 1 Jan 2:15 AM.   A female 21 of 193 Gordon St, Perth Amboy was arrested at QuicChek, 395 Somerset St, for disorderly conduct when she started to curse at and threaten employees while she was throwing a bottle of hand soap at the cashier

Sun 1 Jan 2:26 AM.   A male 27 of 618 W Front St., Plfd. was robbed and assaulted at Geraud Ave and the boro line. The victim could not describe the actors and believes his wallet may have been stolen.

Sun 1 Jan 11:00 PM.   A male 21 of 341 Evona Ave, Plfd. was arrested at Grove St. & the boro line after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation for a $500.00 warrant out of Piscataway.

No time or date on the report. The victim reports he was approached by an unknown male in the Wells Fargo Bank who asked for assistance in cashing a check.  The victim later found that the check was fraudulent.

Tue 27 Dec 11:05 AM.   A cellular phone was stolen from Kentucky Fried Chicken, 506 Somerset St.

Wed 28 Dec. 8:10 AM.   A brick was thrown through the side window of a vehicle parked on Grove St. A lunch bag was removed from the vehicle.

Thur 29 Dec 12:00 AM.   A resident of Brook Ave reports someone opened credit card accounts in her name and charged $1,365.00.

Fri 30 Dec 12:37 PM.   The resident of 127 Delacy Ave reported damage to her Christmas decorations in the amount of about $210.00.

Fri 30 Dec 9:22 PM.   A female 39 of 23 Steiner Pl was arrested at home for disorderly conduct after she refused to stop screaming at people when instructed to do so by the police.

Tue 20 Dec 11:08 PM.   A male 44 of 158 Kearney Ave, Kearney was arrested at Warfield Rd & West End Ave for obstruction when he ran from the scene of a motor vehicle accident and refused to cooperate with the police after he was apprehended.

Thur 22 Dec 12:00 AM.   A resident of 46 Myrtle Ave reported the rear registration plate was stolen from his car.

Thur 22 Dec 8:46 PM.   The resident of 68 West End Ave returned home to find a male in his rear yard who fled when he saw the homeowner.

Thur 22 Dec 9:56 PM.   A customer entered the Hunan Royal Restaurant, 88 Watchung Ave, and had a verbal altercation with an employee.  When the customer was leaving he took menus and threw them into the street.

Fri 23 Dec 7:54 AM.   A resident of 577 Ayres Ave reports a burglary to her unlocked vehicle. Nothing appears to have been stolen. The vehicle was parked in her driveway overnight.

Mon 26 Dec 10:36 PM.   A Fairview Ave resident walked into headquarters and reported his landlord took about $1,000.00 worth of items from him because he was behind with his rent.

Mon 26 Dec 11:01 PM.   A male 20 of 1201 Cameron Ave, Plfd. was arrested at Graybar Drive & Mountain Ave during a motor vehicle stop for possession of marijuana.

Tue 27 Dec 1:30 AM.   A victim entered headquarters and reported he was assaulted on Fairview Ave by a friend who used a knife to cut his finger. The victim refused medical attention.

Wed 28 Dec 10:00 PM. A resident of Fisk Place reported a vehicle was stolen from his driveway between 10 PM last night and 4:20 AM this morning.

Thur 29 Dec 3:13 AM.   An employee of QuickChek, 395 Somerset St, reported 2 black females shoplifted $20.00 worth of items from the store then fled the area.

Fri 30 Dec 1:41 AM.   A male 42 of 60 Willow Av was arrested at QuickChek for shoplifting. He ate a bowl of chili in the store and left without paying.

Tues.13 Dec 5:36 PM.   A female reported she was held up and robbed at Craig Pl & Grove St by a light skinned black male. She believed he was concealing a handgun in his jacket. Stolen were a Samsung phone and 2 debit cards. The suspect then fled north on Grove st.

Wed 14 Dec 12:01 AM.   Christmas decorations were reported stolen from 16 Jackson Ave.

Wed 14 Dec 8:08 AM.   A report of the theft of PTA funds by the former PTA treasurer at Stony Brook School was reported by the victim.

Wed 14 Dec 7:32 PM.   An attempted burglary, through the side door, at 174 Jefferson Ave. was reported. Entry was not gained.
Thur 15 Dec 4:20 PM.   1275 Rock Ave., package valued at $41.00 was stolen from the front door step of the apartment.

Fri 16 Dec 9:30 AM.   A burglary was reported at the Somerset Farms Garden Center, 960 Rt. 22 E.  A window was broken and $120.00 was stolen.

Fri 16 Dec 11:16 AM.   A package valued at $299.00 was reported stolen from 148 Jackson Ave.

Fri 16 Dec 8:50 PM.   A wallet was reported stolen from Star Liquors, 25 Greenbrook Rd.

Fri 16 Dec 11:39 PM.   A male 19 of 1891 W 4th. St., Piscataway was arrested at Howard Johnson’s, 1025 Rt. 22 W., for possession of prescription drugs.

Sun 18 Dec 1:00 PM.  The theft off about 100 lbs of copper wire was stolen from an unsecured garage at Grove St & Linden Ave. The victim was unable to put a value on the stolen property.

Mon 19 Dec 7:00 AM.   A 2003 Ford van was reported stolen from Duer St. no address in the police report.

Wed 7 Dec 6:43 AM.   A burglary to a trailer was reported at 46 Pearl St.  Power tools were stolen.

Wed 7 Dec. 4:40 PM.   A burglary was reported on Forest Brook Dr.  A glass front door was opened and a package containing $225.76 worth of merchandise was stolen.

Thu 8 Dec 4:55 PM.    A resident of Delacy Dr. reported the theft of a package from his neighbor’s porch.  The thief was observed riding a bicycle and holding 3 packages.

Fri 9 Dec 12:00 AM.   A resident of 14 Willow Ave. reported her ex-boyfriend tried to enter her residence through a 3rd floor window. The suspect then jumped 3 floors to the ground and fled the scene.  The suspect was located and transported to a hospital.

Fri 9 Dec 11:51 AM.   A male 18, of 5 3rd Ave., Bridgewater was arrested at 35 Wilson Ave., North Plainfield High School, for possession of marijuana & drug paraphernalia.

Sat 10 Dec 4:06 AM.   A person reported being assaulted by unknown friends at the Portuguese BBQ, 48 Watchung Ave.  The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Sat 10 Dec 8:25 AM.   A resident of 25 Washington Ave. reported his 2006 Toyota Rav 4 was stolen during the evening hours.

Mon 12 Dec 7:00 AM.   A burglary to a motor vehicle was reported in the area of Grandview Ave. & Somerset St.  Nothing was taken from the vehicle which might have been left unlocked.

Mon 12 Dec 7:00 PM. A burglary to a motor vehicle was reported in the area of Grandview Ave. & Somerset St.  The only items taken were 4 keys attached to a key chain.

Mon 12 Dec 8:23 PM.   Mr Weber of the International Club, 403 Somerset St.,  reported that Mr. Long, owner of the Somerset Square property, was trespassing on the property of the International Club by using a ladder to install a security camera on the rear of the Somerset Square Laundry.   Mr. Weber reports when Mr. Long was removing the ladder it struck him on the shin.

Sun 27 Nov 12:06 AM.  A male 30 of 104 East St., Bound Brook was arrested during a motor vehicle stop at Somerset St. & the borough line for possession of marijuana.

Sun 27 Nov 11:24 AM.  The resident of 159 Westervelt Ave. reported a ladder was found propped against the 2nd floor window of the house. The window was damaged and a garage window and a dryer vent were also damaged. Nothing was taken from the residence.

Sun 27 Nov 9:36 PM.   A female 25 of 620 W. 7th. St., Plfd was arrested at CVS Pharmacy, 780 Rt. 22 , for shoplifting. A $2,500.00 warrant from Plfd. was also found for this female.

Mon 28 Nov 4:08 PM.  A black BMX bicycle was reported stolen from the rear of the property at 188 Somerset St.

Mon 28 Nov 4:08 PM.  A resident of 634 Parkview Ave. reported she was harassed & threatened during an argument with a male. This male also poured a drink in the face of the female.

No time or date on this report. A package valued at about $75.00 was stolen from the front door step of 475 West End Ave.

Sat 19 Nov 1:23 AM.  A resident of Manning Ave reported the theft of an Apple Ipad mini & clothing from a vehicle parked in the driveway.

Sat 19 Nov 5:00 AM.  A resident of the 10 block of Grove St reported damage to her Nissan Altima. The headlight and taillight lenses were broken.

Sun 20 Nov 10:51 AM. The resident of 49 Coddington Ave reported damage to her Buick Verano that occurred between 11/18 10:00 PM and 11/20 10:51 AM.  A rear window was shattered.

Sun 20 Nov 7:41 PM.   2 black males restrained a victim at Prospect Pl & Washington Ave while a 3rd black male went through the victims pockets stealing a cell phone valued at about $190.00.  The 3 males then fled west on Myrtle Ave.

Tues 22 Nov 9:58 PM.  A male 21 of 16 W 2nd St, Bound Brook was arrested at Rt 22 E & Gray St for possession of marijuana.

Wed 23 Nov 4:57 PM.  The resident of 40 Willow Av reported the theft of wood chipper, generator and snowblower from the rear yard and shed.  The value of the items is in excess of $1,000.00. This took place between 3:00 & 4:45 PM.

Thur 24 Nov 11:00 PM.  A stolen vehicle was recovered in the West End Gardens parking lot.

Fri 25 Nov. 2:00 PM.   A resident of 431 Richard Way reported being harassed by another neighbor by setting off fireworks.

Fri 25 Nov 3:50 PM.   The resident of 53 Willow Ave reported his garage was broken into and a power washer and power vacuum were stolen.

Fri 25 Nov 8:37 PM.   A male 29 of 743 Carlton Ave, Plfd was arrested at Tesoro Salvadorano, 64 Somerset St, for trespassing. He returned to the building after he was twice escorted out and told not to return by the management.

Sat 26 Nov 2:30 AM.   A male 20 of 928 W Front St, Plfd was arrested at Park Pl & Somerset St., during a motor vehicle stop, for possession of marijuana.

Sat 26 Nov 2:40 AM.   A female 26 of 744 W 3rd St, Plfd was arrested at Park Pl & Somerset St. for theft. She stole money from the taxi she was riding in.

Sun 28 Nov 10:38 AM.   The resident of 33 Willow Ave reported someone broke into a detached garage and stole a snow blower.

Tues. 15 Nov 5:30 AM.  A garage at 49 Craig Pl, was burglarized. Stolen were 2  cases of Corona Beer valued at $20.00.

Tues. 15 Nov 12:57 PM.  A burglary at 210 Brook Ave. was reported. Entry was gained through a rear door that may have been left unlocked. Stolen was about $50,000.00 in jewelry. There were no visible signs of forced entry.

Thur. 17 Nov 12:00 PM.  A burglary to a shed in the area of Grove St. & Mercer Ave. was reported. Stolen was a leaf blower valued at about $300.00.

Thur. 17 Nov 12:02 PM.  A burglary to a garage was reported at 81 Norwood Ave.  Stolen was a hand held leaf blower and a bicycle. No value of the items listed in the report. The incident took place during the overnight hours.

Mon. 21 Nov 7:00 AM.   A cement mixer & a yellow Excavator were stolen from a construction site at 1200 Rt. 22 E. next to the Tile Shop. The incident took place between 18 Nov 3:00 PM and 21 Nov 7:00 AM.

Thur. 10 Nov 7:40 PM. A male 36 of 1990 Filbert Lane, Plfd. was arrested on Clinton Av, during a motor vehicle stop, for a $150.00 warrant out of Plfd.

Fri. 11 Nov 11:06 AM.  A burglary was reported to an apartment on Steiner Pl.  No address or point of entry was listed in the report.

Sat. 12 Nov 4:27 PM.  2 motorcycles were observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Greenbrook Rd. A marked patrol unit attempted to stop the motorcycles. When the patrol unit was seen the cyclists drove recklessly into oncoming traffic at a high rate of speed. No registration plates were seen on the motorcycle as they fled the scene.

Mon. 31 Oct 3:21 PM.  A group of juveniles caused damage to a vehicle parked in the area of Harrison Ave. & Walnut St.

Tue. 1 Nov 6:07 PM.   A male 22 of 575 Warfield Rd. was arrested in front of his residence for a $500.00 warrant out of New Brunswick.

Wed. 2 Nov 2:00 AM.   A male 28 of 432 W. 4th St., Plfd. was arrested at 1165 Rt. 22 during a motor vehicle stop for a $2,757.09 NP warrant.

Wed. 2 Nov 11:01 AM.   A female entered CVS Pharmacy, 780 Rt. 22 E, and attempted to shoplift $190.00 of merchandise. When confronted by an employee the female fled the scene leaving the merchandise.

Wed. 2 Nov 3:37 PM.   A female reported a black male about 12 years old wearing a black puffy jacket stole her cell phone from her hand as he rode his bicycle in the area of 95 Mercer Ave. The victim gave chase and the suspect dropped the cell phone

Wed. 2 Nov 5:31 PM.   A resident of Rockview Ave. reported a package stolen from the front porch of the residence. No address listed in the police report.

Mon 24 Oct 5:11 AM. A resident of Grove St. reports someone broke a window on a motor vehicle.

Tue 25 Oct 1:02 PM.  A male entered Costco, 1290 Rt. 22 East, and attempted to shoplift multiple door bells.

Tue 25 Oct 6:20 PM.  A male 23 of 81 Harrison Ave. was arrested at his home for a $1,723.00 warrant out of Middlesex.

Wed 26 Oct 7:50 AM. A boro resident reported the burglary of an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the area of Grandview Ave. & Verdon St. Total amount of items stolen is $52.00.

Thur 27 Oct 7:27 AM.  A resident of 88 Mercer Ave. reported someone used a black marker to put graffiti of a provocative nature on his vehicle. The estimated damage is about $250.00.

Thur 27 Oct 7:58 AM. A resident of 115 Sweetbriar Ln reports criminal mischief to her vehicle while it was parked at her residence.

Fri 28 Oct 8:28 PM. A male reported he was the victim of an armed robbery while in the area of 36 Myrtle Ave. Three black males robbed him at gun point then threw him to the ground and kicked him in the face.

Sat 29 Oct 9:00 AM. A vehicle was reported stolen from the area of 161 Sanford Ave.

Sat 29 Oct 7:30 PM.  The victim gave a stranger a ride. While in the vehicle the stranger removed the victim’s wallet from his front pocket, stole $200.00 and replaced the wallet in the pocket. The victim was unaware this was happening.

Sat 29 Oct 9:41 PM. A male 30 of 52 Bernards Ave., Bernardsville was arrested for DWI on Fairview Ave. His BAC reading was 0.20%

Sun 30 Oct 2:04 PM. A male 33 of 11 Myrtle Ave was arrested at 473 Somerset St. for being a disorderly person.  He was highly intoxicated.

Mon 31 Oct 2:05 AM. A victim reported he was assaulted at the Bridge Tavern, 54 Watchung Ave.

Mon 31 Oct 9:00 AM. The police received a report of eggs being thrown at a house in the area of Harold St. & Jennings Ln.

Wed 19 Oct 4:52 PM.  A vehicle caught fire at 497 Rt. 22 Wwest. The NP Fire Dept. extinguished the fire. There were no reported injuries.

Wed 19 Oct 5:00 PM. A resident of 264 Jackson Ave. reported her child’s bicycle was stolen from the front porch. The value of the bicycle is about $100.00.

Wed 19 Oct 7:21 PM. A male 47 of 83 Watchung Ave. was arrested at Linden Ave. & Steiner Pl. on a $200.00 NP warrant.

Thur 20 Oct 5:02 AM. A black male as seen entering a vehicle parked in the driveway of 304 Brook Ave. The resident scared the suspect causing him to run south.

Thur 20 Oct 10:06 AM. A resident of 148 Delacy Ave. reported a theft.A company named Asceneuron sent the victim an email offering employment. The company then asked the victim to cash a check that was fraudulent. the check bounced.

Thur 20 Oct 12:18 PM. A teacher at East End School reported a black male might have been taking pictures of the children playing outside of the school. Police units were unable to locate the suspect.

Thur 20 Oct. 2:43 PM. A resident of 21 Myrtle Ave. reported someone cut her pet’s leash that was in the back yard. Value of the leash is about $10.00.

Thur 20 Oct 7:56 PM.  A male 24 of 24 Sycamore Ave., Plfd. was arrested at  Park Pl. & Vine St. for hindering apprehension.

Thur 20 Oct 9:00 PM.  A male 33 of 58 Aberly Dr., Manalapan was arrested at headquarters on a $1000.00 warrant.

Fri 21 Oct 4:01 PM. An employee of Buy Rite Liquors, 967 Rt. 22 W. reported a black female with blond weave in her hair, about 30 years old, shoplifted 3 bottles of alcoholic beverages. Total value of $195.00.

Fri 21 Oct 5:18 PM. A resident of 79 Manning Ave. reported a white male stole a package from his front porch that was delivered by UPS. Value of the package is $16.00.

Sat 22 Oct 12:48 AM.  A male 24 of 73 Lexington Ave., Plfd. was arrested during a motor vehicle stop at Mountain Ave. & Rt. 22 E for DWI. The suspect refused to submit to a breath test.

Sat 22 Oct 4:45 PM. A male 26 of 97 Oraton St., Newark was arrested at 273 Somerset St. on a $1,000.00 warrant.

Mon 17 Oct 2:01 PM. There was an attempted burglary at a Mountain Ave. home, no address in report, when the rear door was forced open and it activated an alarm. No items were stolen from the home.

Mon 17 Oct 2:41 PM. A male of 19 Chatham St. was arrested on Brook Ave. for a Union County Warrant for child support.

Mon 17 Oct 9:09 PM. A male 18 of 300 Central Ave., Plfd. was arrested on Fairview Ave. for assault. The victim was on Fairview Ave. when he was punched in the face by a black male. Based on the description given by the victim a suspect was stopped by police and positively identified by the victim as the assailant.

Tue 18 Oct 10:48 PM. A home on Fisk Pl. was reported burglarized. Various items were stolen. No address or point of entry listed in the police report.

Tue 18 Oct 12:00 AM. The victim reported she had her car washed at Somerset Auto Spa, 412 Somerset St. When she arrived home her husband observed his iPod had been removed from the vehicle.

Tue 18 Oct 12:00. A resident of 23 Pearl St. reports she left her apartment open for an exterminator.  When she returned home she found that 2 checks made out to her, totaling $332.00, were missing.

Wed 12 Oct 1:19 AM. A male 56 of 1272 Park Ave., Plfd. was arrested at Grove & Walnut St for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wed 12 Oct 1:19 AM. A male 53 of 1154 W. 3rd St., Plfd. was arrested at the Emerald Car Wash, 750 Rt. 22 W., on a $114.00 out of Irvington.

Wed 12 Oct 11:04 AM. A male 49 of 401 Rt. 22 W. was arrested at Dorian Rd & North Dr. for possession of marijuana.

Wed 12 Oct 6:5 PM. A female 35 of 113 Bedford Ct., Piscataway was arrested at headquarters on a $250.00 Plfd. warrant.

Fri 14 Oct 5:24 PM.  A resident of 39 Myrtle Ave. reported a package was stolen from her front porch. Tracking information indicated the package was delivered 11 Oct.

Fri 14 Oct 11:31 PM. A male 39 of 1165 Rt. 22 W. was arrested during a motor vehicle stop at 1275 Rock Ave. for possession of marijuana.

Sat 15 Oct 5:06 PM. A resident of Farragut Rd. reported a bicycle stolen. No address in police report.

Sun 16 Oct 1:15 AM. A male 43 of 810 St Mary Ave., Plfd, was arrested at Duer St. & Greenbrook Rd. for DWI after his car rolled over.

Sun 16 Oct 2:21 AM. A male 18 of 73 Commerce St., Perth Amboy was arrested at Gavin & Steiner Pl. for obstruction when he refused to stop fighting when instructed to do so by the police. There were about 30 people involved in the fight.

Sun 16 Oct 2:35 AM. A 41 year old male reported his vehicle was damaged in the QuickChek lot when a person that was punched during a fight fell into his car door.

Mon.17 Oct 8:59 AM. A male 43 of 36 Grandview Ave. was arrested on Myrtle Ave. on a NP warrant. This took place after his vehicle was stopped for not having a child properly restrained.

Thur 6 Oct 12:00 AM.   A resident of 68 Jackson Ave reported she was being harassed by 2 males on Twitter. They posted a picture of the victim and made obscene comments.
Thur 6 Oct 6:00 AM. A house on Sycamore Ave. (no address in report) was reported burglarized while the resident was at work.
Thur 6 Oct 7:23 PM.   Packages worth $77.00 were stolen from the front porch of 120 Myrtle Ave. between 9:55 AM & 4:58 PM.
Thur 6 Oct 10:00 PM.  A male 46 of 1459 Clinton Ave., So. Plfd. was arrested at headquarters on a $500.00 NP warrant.
Sat 8 Oct 11:00 AM.   Packages were stolen from 221 Watchung Ave. after being delivered by UPS.
Sun 9 Oct 1:01 AM.   A male 24 of 23 Duer St was arrested at Duer St. & Lincoln Pl. for DWI, refusing to take a breath test, and possession of marijuana.

Sat 9 Oct 1:53 AM.   A male 52 of 1904 Woodland Ave., So Plfd was arrested at Somerset Pl.n& Somerset St., during a motor vehicle stop, for hindering apprehension by giving false identification information to the police.

Sat 9 Oct 4:00 PM.   A real estate agent reported a house on Fisk Pl. (no address in report) was broken into. Damage to his house was caused by the basement being flooded.
Sun 10 Oct 12:00 AM.   A female came to 32 Myrtle Ave. to retrieve clothing that belonged to her brother. An argument started and when the female was leaving the residence, she intentionally knocked over a 47″ flat screen television.

Mon 11 Oct 10:46 AM.   A male 19 of 450 West End Ave. was arrested at home for possession of marijuana. He was smoking as he passed police officers.

Mon 11 Oct 5:24 PM.   A resident of 560 Fisk Pl. reported her home was burglarized. When she returned to her home she saw a female & male fleeing from the home. About $386.00 worth of items were stolen. No point of entry in the report.
Mon 11 Oct 8:44 PM.   A male 59 of 714 Drake Ave., Middlesex was arrested at Jackson Ave. & Somerset St. during a motor vehicle stop for active warrants totaling $2,120.00.

Mon 11 Oct 11:51 PM.   A male 21 of 906 Baltimore Ave., Linden was arrested Stone & Union St. for possession of marijuana.

Tue 4 Oct 9:11 AM.   An employee of the Asian Food Market, 1011 Rt. 22 W, reported someone broke a 6 ft. window on the front of the business. Estimated cost of repair is $4,200.00.

Tue 4 Oct 10:21 AM.   A victim reported her iPhone 5, worth $500.00, was stolen in the area of Somerset St. No address in report.

Tue 4 Oct 11:24 AM.   A resident of 103 Sycamore reported a neighbor has been trespassing on her property and looking in the windows as he walks his dog.

Tue 4 Oct 3:07 PM.   The police received a report of a person at 33 Summit Ave. wearing a clown mask and was scaring children. When confronted by the police, the person said he was wearing the mask to show his friend and had not intended to frighten any children.

Tue 4 Oct 9:57 PM.   A male 31 of 65 Mercer Ave. was arrested at Mercer & Sycamore Ave. for possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop.

Wed. 5 Oct.   A male 20 248 Leland Ave., Plfd. was arrested at 28 Grandview Ave. for hindering apprehension. He provided false identification information to the police. He was also charged with under age consumption of an alcoholic beverage.

Mon. 26 Sept 8:00 AM.  2 bicycles were stolen from the area of Little Pl. & Malcolm Av. The value of the bicycles is about $150.00

Fri 30 Sept 3:10 PM.  A bicycle, worth $130.00, was stolen from the area of Grove St. & Rockview Av.

Sat 1 Oct 12:04 AM.   A resident of 213 Clinton Av. reported an unknown male was banging on their door. The suspect fled prior to the arrival of the police.

Sat 1 Oct 10:38 AM.   A male 40 of 17 Davis Av., East Orange was arrested on Norwood Av. during a motor vehicle stop for a warrant issued by the Essex County Sheriffs’ Dept.

Sun. 17 April 1:37 AM.   A male, 16, was the victim of an armed robbery on Meadowbrook Rd.  A female, 14, that was with the victim fled the scene. The victim was robbed at gun point by 2 males. Taken was a cell phone. The robbers then fled the scene in a vehicle. No description listed in the police report.

The resident called the number left and got a voicemail advising to call back at another time or leave a message. The resident thought this might be some type of scam.

Tue. 8 Mar 1:39 PM.   The alarm at a Denninger Rd. residence was activated.  When they arrived the found the residence had been burglarized.  No point of entry or address in the police report.

Tue.8 Mar. 6:49 PM.   Greenbrook Road & West End Ave. Road rage incident.  The female driver of a vehicle at the scene reports a vehicle almost sideswiped her.  The male passenger of that vehicle exited and smashed the passenger side window with his hand of the complainants vehicle causing injury to a female passenger, he then left the scene.

Wed. 9 Mar. 2:40 AM.   A male 33 of 1213 George St., Plfd. was stopped at Jackson Av. & Somerset St. for crossing against the red light.  It was found that the violator had numerous active warrants for his arrest.  During his arrest he was found to have in his possession fraudulent documents, LSD and marijuana.

Sun. 7 Feb. 8:11 PM.   The resident of 372 Mountain Ave. reported a burglary to their home that had taken place earlier in the day.  Entry was gained by breaking a rear window.  About $400.00 in cash was stolen from the house.

Mon. 8 Feb. 11:44 AM.   A male, 53, of 392 Berkman St., Plainfield was arrested for possession of CDS after the vehicle he was a passenger in was stopped at Duer St. & Park Pl. for a motor vehicle violation.  The female driver of the vehicle was charged with obstruction of justice.  Another male passenger in the vehicle was charged with possession of CDS and distribution of CDS within 1000 feet of a school.  The 2 males were taken to Somerset County Jail.

Sat. 30 Jan.  A male, 19, from Somerville was arrested on Duer St. for obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $25,000.00.

Mon. 1 Feb. 11:20 PM.  A male, 43, of 26 Manning Ave. was arrested at Fairview Ave. & Somerset St. during a motor vehicle stop on $1,578.00 warrant out of Raritan Borough.

Thur. 4 Feb. 6:01 PM.  A female, 41, of 143 S. 8th Ave., Manville was arrested at headquarters on warrants totaling $1,500.00.  She was turned over to the Somerset County Jail.

Thur. 4 Feb. 8:05 PM.  A resident and her son of the apartments at 301 Maple Ave. observed 2 males with black hoods in their doorway appearing to be attempting to break in. The son screamed at the actors and they fled in different directions, entered an older model Honda Civic, and fled west on Rt. 22. The police checked the area for the vehicle with negative results.

Tues. 2 Feb. 5:30 PM.  A resident of the Terrace View Apartments at 301 Maple Ave. reported someone pulled up to him on a motorcycle, hit him on the head, pointed the gun at him, and fled the scene.

Tues. 2 Feb. 7:45 PM.  A resident of the Cypress Gardens Apartments at 1165 Rt. 22 West reported that a burglary to an apartment had occurred.  Three suspects were apprehended.  No charges at this time. No point of entry or value of any merchandise stolen appears in the report.

An area resident heard the noise and yelled out that she was going to call the police.  The actors fled the scene.  The victim refused any medical attention and was transported to his home by the police.

Fri 29 Jan. 4:14 PM.  A male, 31, of 115 6^th.St., Plainfield was arrested at Greenbrook Rd. & Grove St. following a motor vehicle stop resulting from a report of suspicious activity when it was found he had multiple active warrants from North Plainfield and surrounding municipalities.

Sat. 30 Jan. 1:24 AM.  A male, 38, of 85 Duer St. was arrested at 85 Duer St. for interfering with a police investigation.

Mon. 1 Feb. 3:00 AM.  A resident of Summit Ave. reported his vehicle, a 1995 Acura, was stolen from the front of his home.  No suspects at this time.

Tues. 12 Jan. 1:49 PM.  A resident of 1300 Rt. 22 E. reported a package was stolen from her front stoop. A neighbor described the suspect as a black male driving a 4 door gray vehicle. The suspect stopped his vehicle took the package and fled.

He gave false identification information to the police when he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Outstanding arrest warrants were located when the police were able to identify him.

Tues. 29 Dec. 5:25 AM.  The resident of 634 Parkview Ave. reported he was robbed at gunpoint by 2 black males, one with a tattoo on his face, and a black female. While in the victim’s residence they stole his wallet, watch, X Box and cell phone. They then hit the victim on his head with the gun, and fled west on Parkview Ave. in a silver or gray Toyota. The police canvassed the area but could find no suspects.

Tues. 29 Dec. 3:22 PM. A resident of the apartments at 401 Rt. 22 W. reported his 2000 white Volkswagen Jetta, that was parked at the corner of Dorian Rd. & North Dr. was stolen sometime between 7:00 AM  27 Dec. and 29 Dec. The value of the vehicle is about $10,000.00.

Fri. 25 Dec. 8:14 PM.   A male entered headquarters to report he was assaulted while at a party in a home on Lincoln Pl. The assault took place around 3:00 AM that morning.

Thur. 24 Dec. 6:00 PM.  A male, 50, of 461 Catalpa Ave. was arrested on Greenbrook Rd. for DWI after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Mon. 21 Dec. 7:30 AM. A victim at 22 Duer St. reported damage to the front passenger side window of her vehicle. The estimated cost of the damage is $300.00.

Mon. 21 Dec. 4:40 PM. An employee of Somerset Tire, 588 Mountain Ave., reported his personal car engine was stolen from the store. He believes it was stolen between Saturday night and Monday Morning. The engine is valued at $2,000.00.

Mon.21 Dec. 9:02 PM.  The resident of the apartments at 1165 Rt.22 W. reported his apartment had been burglarized. Entry was gained through a bedroom window. A total of $90.00 in cash and jewelry were stolen in this burglary.

Wed. 16 Dec. 12:00 AM.  A Grove St. resident reported a burglary to his apartment. Stolen from the 3rd floor apartment were a cell phone valued at $300.00 and a 5 gallon jug holding about $600.00 in change. It is unknown at this time how entry was gained. There was no address for the burglary in the police report.

Wed. 16 Dec. 6:30 PM.  A resident of Lincoln Pl. reported a burglary to his residence. Entry was gained through the rear basement door between 6:30 AM & 6:30 PM. $5.00 in change was stolen from his basement apartment. The dresser drawers were gone through but nothing was taken. There was no address for the burglary in the police report.

Wed. 16 Dec. 9:03 PM.  A resident of Ayres Ave. reported his vehicle was damaged overnight. It appears someone scratched the vehicle with a key or similar object.  This took place between 9:00 PM 12/15 and 7:00 AM 12/16. No address for this incident listed in the police report.

Thur. 17 Dec. 8:32 PM.  A male, 44, of 601 W. 7th. St., Plainfield surrendered at headquarters and was arrested on numerous NP warrants. He was turned over to the Somerset County Jail.

Fri. 18 Dec. 12:00 AM.  A juvenile reported her Samsung Galaxy 3 cell phone was stolen from her book bag while she was at the North Plainfield Memorial Library earlier in the day.

Fri. 18 Dec.  A resident of Westervelt Ave. reported someone stole his Star Shower Laser Light display from his front yard. The value of the item is $40.00. There was no address for this theft in the police report.

Fri. 18 Dec. 3:23 PM.  A male, no age listed in the report, of 5 Maxwell Ct., Warren was arrested for DWI on Rt. 22 W. His blood alcohol content (bac) was 0.24%.

Mon. 21 Dec. 1:50 AM.  A female, 36, of 697 W 3rd St., Plainfield was arrested at Mi Mundo Latino bar 375 Somerset St. for disorderly conduct. She was intoxicated and was attempting to start a fight with customers of the bar by standing in Somerset St. blocking traffic and engaging in a profanity laced tirade.

Fri. 11 Dec. 11:26 PM.  A male, 41, of 5 New Walnut St. was arrested on Watchung Ave. for DWI.  His blood alcohol content was 0.20%.

Sa.t 12 Dec. 1:14 PM.  The resident of 125 Westervelt Ave. reported a bicycle was stolen from the property. The bicycle is described as a Tony Hawk BMX with pink handle bars and rims.  It was stolen between 1 & 1:14 PM on 12 December.

Sat. 12 Dec. 10:26 PM.   A male reported he was assaulted at 13 Coddington Av.by 4 white males, one might have been carrying a knife. Nothing was taken from the victim and he was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Mon. 14 Dec. 9:30 AM.  A resident of 35 Craig Pl. reported an incident of criminal mischief. The front and rear drivers side of his vehicle was damaged.

Thur. 10 Dec. A resident of Willow Av. reported an attempted burglary to her home. She found a storm window on the Gerard Ave. side of the home forced open. This took place between 12/9 & 12/10. The time is unknown.

Entry was gained through a first floor window and exit was made through the dining room sliding door.  Jewelry and a Sony PS4.  The total value of the items stolen is about $4,000.00. Sun. 22 Nov. 11:39 PM.   A male, 19, of 59 Duer St. was arrested at 162 Walnut St. for DWI after hitting a tree and overturning his vehicle. He was transported to a hospital where blood was taken to determine his blood alcohol content.

Fri 27 Nov. 7:12 AM.   A male, 40, of 44 Fairview Ave. was arrested at Grove St. & Linden Ave. for DWI where his vehicle was observed obstructing traffic. His blood alcohol content was .16%.

Fri. 27 Nov. 9:11 PM.  The resident of 124 Mali Dr. reported the home had been burglarized. Entry was gained by breaking the glass of a back door. No items are reported to have been stolen from the home.

Fri 27 Nov.  The resident of 125 Netherwood Ave. reported his home had been burglarized. Entry was gained through a kitchen window. The items stolen were a bag of pistachios and a screen from the kitchen window worth $70.00. No suspects at this time.

Sat. 21 Nov. 10:52 AM.   A male, 30, of 904 Grant Ave., Plainfield was arrested at Prospect Pl. & Washington Ave. for disorderly conduct. When stopped for motor vehicle violations, the actor started yelling obscenities and causing an obstruction to oncoming traffic.

Wed. 25 Nov. 12:01 AM.   A male, 45, of 738 St. Mary’s Ave., Plainfield was arrested for DWI at 375 Somerset St., Mundo Latino Bar, after he struck a parked vehicle and was attempting to leave the scene. The driver’s blood alcohol level was 0.22%.

Wed. 25 Nov. 2:32 AM.  A male, 22, of 217 E. 7th.St., Plainfield was arrested on Somerset St. for DWI after being involved in as motor vehicle accident. His blood alcohol level was 0.19%

Wed. 25 Nov. 12:14 PM.  The resident of 328 Greenbrook Rd. reported suspicious activity around that location. 2 males appeared to be observing the house. The victim believes they were planning on burglarizing the home.

Wed.25 Nov 6:25 PM.  The victim was notified she left her purse in a shopping cart at Costco 1290 Rt. 22 E. When she returned to the store she found that $125.00 in cash and 2 debit cards were missing from the purse.

Wed. 25 Nov. 9:50 PM. A report came from the area of Belmont Ave. & Manning Ave. about a black male burglarizing vehicles. 3 unlocked vehicle had been entered. Stolen from these vehicles was loose change. The male was described as being tall & thin wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.

 

Fri. 27 Nov. A burglary was reported at 82 Belmont Av. The owner noticed his son’s bedroom window had been broken. A $1,500.00 Movado watch was stolen.

Fri.13 Nov. 1:00 PM.  A resident of 167 Netherwood Ave. reported her vehicle was burglarized overnight. The vehicle was left unlocked.

Wed. 11 Nov. 7:11 AM.  Criminal mischief was reported to a vehicle parked in the rear lot of 64 Somerset St. The vehicle incurred $1,000 worth of damage. No indication in the report as to what the damage consisted of.

Thur. 11 Nov 9:05 PM.   A female, 37, of 36 Myrtle Ave. was arrested at headquarters on a $500.00 warrant.

Thur. 11 Nov. 10:37 PM.   A male, 38, of 82 Rockview Ave. was arrested in Westfield on a NP warrant. He was turned over to NP and transported to the Somerset County Jail.

Tue. 10 Nov. 12:00 AM.   A resident of the apartments at 300 Maple Ave. reports on or about 7 Nov. he heard his front door open. When he went to investigate he found a black male in the house. He shouted for the intruder to get out. The intruder ran from the area. No explanation was given by the victim as to why he did not report the incident in a timely manner.

Fri. 6 Nov. 2:06 AM.   A male 26 of 33 High St., Orange was arrested at 7-11 at  568 Rt.22 W for disorderly conduct, hindering apprehension and J walking. Warrants totaling $3,000.00 were also located.

Fri. 6 Nov. 10:40 PM.   A male 31 of 918 Kenyon Ave.. Plainfield was arrested at Oakridge Ave. & West End Ave. for warrants totaling $7,537.00.  He also had a no bail warrant out of the Union County Sheriffs’ office.

Wed. 4 Nov. 4:26 PM.   The resident of 215 Maple Terrace reported damage to her vehicle.  She believes the damage was the result of a parking dispute. There is no indication as to what the damage consisted of.

Wed. 4 Nov. 8:00 PM.   A male 45 of 1951 Plainfield Ave., Plainfield was arrested at headquarters on a $500.00 NP warrant.

Wed. 4 Nov. 11:09 PM.   A female resident of 51 Sycamore Ave. reported her ex-boyfriend assaulted her current boyfriend with a baseball bat he had retrieved from his vehicle.  He then fled the scene. The current boyfriend was transported to JFK for treatment.

Wed. 4 Nov.11:35 PM.   A male 18 of 952 Kenyon Ave., Plainfield was arrested at Fairview Ave. & Somerset St. during a motor vehicle stop on a $500.00 warrant out of Plainfield.  He also received a summons for maintenance of lights.

Tue. 3 Nov. 6:28 PM.  The resident of 388 Watchung Ave. reported patio furniture was stolen from his rear yard on 31 October. Stolen were 4 antique wrought iron chairs and the glass portion of an antique wrought iron table.

Tue. 3 Nov. 9:36 PM.   A male 41 of 100 Manning Ave. was arrested at Chatham St. & Watchung Ave. during a motor vehicle stop for an equipment violation on a $500.00 warrant out of Newark. He posted bail and was released.

Tue. 3 Nov. 10:17 PM.   The resident of 366 Richard Way reported he heard noise outside.  When he went to investigate he observed a male in his vehicle. The suspect fled when he saw the resident. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Sat. 10 Oct. 10:48 PM. A male 44 of 74 morning Glory Rd. Warren was arrested at Greenbrook Rd. & Rock Av. for DWI after he was observed striking a curb. He refused to submit to a breath test.  He was charged with DWI and refusal.

Sun. 4 Oct. 8:48 PM.  A male, 23, of 22 Highland Ave., Newark was arrested at Tesoros Salvadoreno, 64 Somerset St. on an $81.00 warrant out of Bridgewater. This took place during an investigation of an odor of marijuana and an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public.

Fri. 1 Oct. 11:25 AM.   A resident of 470 West End Av. reported that between midnight and 11:25 AM, someone flattened her passenger side front and rear tires.

Mon. 28 Sept. 8:01 PM.   A resident of the apartment complex at 1300 Rt. 22 W. reported her apartment had been burglarized today between 6 & 8 PM. The apartment was ransacked and various forms of identification were stolen along with $4,500 in cash. No point of entry listed in the police report.

Wed. 30 Sept. 7:01 PM.   A male, 28, of 1114 St. Marks Pl,. Plainfield was arrested at West End Aev. & the city line on two NP warrants totaling $824.00 during a motor vehicle stop.  He was turned over to the Somerset County Jail

Tue. 29 Sept. 9:34 PM.   A male, 22, of 505 W 3rd. St., Plainfield, was arrested on Prospect Place on a $500.00 warrant out of Plainfield. During the arrest he was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested for that also.

Tue. 29 Sept. 11:51 PM.   An apartment at the apartment complex at 1165 Rt. 22 W. was burglarized between 11:15 AM & 11:30 PM. Today. Entry was gained through a dining room window. Several items were stolen from the apartment.

Sun. 27 Sept. 12:28 AM.   A male, 20, of 32 Harrison Av. was arrested on Harrison Ave. for an outstanding warrant.

Sun. 27 Sept. 3:57 AM.    A male, 35, of 35 Prospect Pl. was arrested at his home on a $300.00 warrant out of NP.

Sat. 26 Sept.   The resident of 38 Rockview Avr. reported her house had been burglarized during the evening hours.  She reported this burglary on Sunday morning, 27 Sept. Entry was gained through the front door. The resident was sleeping in her bed room at the time of the burglary. The basement of the home had been ransacked. It is unknown if anything was stolen. For some reason we have not received a police report relating to this incident. The information pertaining to this incident came directly from the resident.

Sat. 26 Sept. 4:00 PM.   On the above date and time a North Plainfield Library employee reported seeing a black male remove 3 DVD’s from their cases and conceal them on his person before leaving.

Sat. 26 Sept. 3:21 AM.   A male, 36, of 255 Duer St. was arrested at 105 Norwood Ave. for DWI after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident. He refused to submit to giving breath samples. He was charged with refusing and given multiple other summonses.

Wed. 23 Sept. 12:37 PM. The owner of The Brook Restaurant 58 Greenbrook Rd. reported a workman stopped in to give an estimate for work to be done. This workman left his Ipad Mini on a table in the restaurant. When he returned to retrieve it, it was gone. The Ipad is valued at $800.00.

Sat. 19 Sept. 1:40 AM.   A male 35 of 433 W. 4th. St., Plainfield was arrested at Myrtle Av. & Sycamore Av. for possession of heroin. The investigation also revealed a warrant from the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office.

Sat. 19 Sept. 6:30 PM.  The resident of 200 Somerset St. reports he was awakened by knocking at his door. When he looked out he saw 2 black males. One of these males signaled for the victim to open the door. When he refused to open the door one of the males smashed one of the glass panes in the door then fled the area.

Sun. 20 Sept. 6:15 PM.  The residents of 755 Ayres Av. reported a burglary to their locked vehicle. Entry was made through the passenger door. Items stolen were an insurance card and the vehicle registration. This took place between 9/19 10:00 AM and 6:15 PM 9/20.

Thur.17 Sept. 11:00 AM. A male 24 of 2225 Newark Av. Scotch Plains  was arrested by the State Police on a NP warrant and turned over to the boro.

**Fri.11 Sept.  A report of a burglary to a motor vehicle was made by the resident of 85 Mali Dr.  Nothing appeared to have been stolen at the time this report was made.

**Wed. 9 Sept. 9:06 AM.  A resident of the apartments at 401 Rt.22 reported her vehicle had damaged while it was parked on North Dr. The damage was caused by profanity being scratched into the paint. The estimated cost of repair is between $500.00 & $1,000.00. The incident took place between 9/8/15 9:00 PM & 9/9/15 9:06 AM.

**Tue. 8 Sept. 8:00 AM.  A resident of 241 N. Jackson Ave. reported his vehicle had been burglarized. This took place between 1:00 AM &8:00 AM 8 Sept.  Nothing of value was stolen.

Tue. 8 Sept. 8:30 AM.  An elderly resident of 145 Leland Ave. was reported as a missing & endangered adult.  Her information was entered into the nationwide computer system.  She was later found in S. Plainfield after an extensive search by multiple law enforcement agencies and a K-9 unit.

Tue. 8 Sept. 8:34 AM.  A male, 26, of 175 1st. St., Newark was arrested for hindering at Duer St. & Greenbrook Rd. after giving false information during a domestic violence investigation.  When he gave the correct information it was found that he had multiple active warrants for his arrest.

*Tue. 8 Sept. 10:15 PM.  A resident of apartments on 450 Little Pl. reported when she returned home she found her apartment had been burglarized.  The apartment had been ransacked. Nothing appeared to have been stolen. Entrance was gained through a rear bedroom window.

Mon.7 Sept. 12:45 AM.  A male, 27, of 290 Terrill Rd., Plainfield was arrested at Crosson Pl & West End Ave. for warrants totaling $1,500.00 out of NP & Middlesex Twp. This took place during a motor vehicle stop.

**Mon. 7 Sept. 7:06 AM.  A female resident of 45 Prospect Pl. reported someone used a sharp object to put scratches on the passenger side of her vehicle that was parked in front of her house. This took place during the evening hours.

*Mon. 7 Sept. 8:12 AM. A resident of 32 Somerset Pl. reported he believes a person, known to him, stole cash from the residence. The suspect denies the act.

Sun. 6 Sept. 1:15 AM.  A male, 28, of 234 W. Main St, Somerville was arrested at 15 Harrison Ave. on an outstanding warrant out of the Somerset County Prosecutors Office. He was also charged with hindering for supplying a false name during the investigation.

Sun. 6 Sept. 3:41 AM. The operator of a cab reported that he believes 2 female clients stole $100.00 from his cab when he delivered them to 180 Muriel Ave.

*Sat. 5 Sept. 1:00 AM. The residents of 281 Brook Ave. reported their house was burglarized again today between the hours of 1:00 & 2:00 AM.  Entry was gained through a dining room window. Stolen was $281.00 from a wallet in the kitchen.  The victims reported their house was burglarized .

*Sat. 5 Sept. 12:32 PM. A resident of 146 Norwood Ave. reported the residence was burglarized during the evening. Stolen was a computer worth $200.00. No information on how entry was gained in the report.

Sat. 5 Sept. 11:28 PM. A male, 22, of 401 Rt. 22 W. was arrested at his home on a $2,500.00 warrant out of Newark.

Fri. 4 Sept. 12:08 AM.  A male, 33, of 502 Watchung Ave., Plainfield was arrested on Grove St. for DWI, unlicensed driver, careless driving, and reckless driving after the vehicle he was operating hit a parked car. His alcohol reading was 0.20%.

Fri.4 Sept. 9:21 AM.  A male, 41, of 345 Evona Ave., Plainfield was arrested at headquarters on a NP warrant.

Thur. 2 Sept. 9:17 PM.  A female, 48, no address given, reported she received harassing phone calls from an unknown male on 9/3/15 9:17 PM.

Sat. 29 Aug. 5:09 PM.  A female, 25, of 1659 W 3rd. St., Piscataway was arrested on Warrants totaling $908.00 out of Dunellen & Watchung. This took place at Geraud Ave. & Myrtle Ave. during a motor vehicle stop.

Mon. 31 Aug.  A female, 35, of 83 Westervelt Ave. was arrested at Tesoros Salvadoreno Restaurant, 64 Somerset St, for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She was  highly intoxicated, belligerent and attempted to assault a police officer.

Wed. 19 Aug. 12:22 AM.   A female, 23, of 393 Grove St. was arrested at headquarters on a $10,000.00 warrant out of E. Orange for making terroristic threats.

Fri. 21 Aug. 9:08 PM.  The victim reported as he was pulling into the PB Station at 1310 Rt.22 E. when an unknown person shot a white paintball into his vehicle,striking the inside  front windshield. No injuries reported.

Sat. 22 Aug. 3:21 PM.  The manager of Costco, 1290 Rt 22 E.,  reported damage to a fence on the property.. Estimated cost to make the repair is $200.00.

Sat. 22 Aug. 10:04 PM.   A male, 23, of 21 E 7th. St. Plainfield was arrested at La Strada Pizza, 391 C Somerset St. for criminal mischief when he threw a glass bottle in front of the restaurant causing damage to a vehicle.

Sun. 23 Aug. 9:56 AM.  A male, 55, of 28 Greenbrook Rd. was arrested at  Gavin & Steiner Pl  on an outstanding warrant from the Somerset County Sheriff’s Dept. During a search of the suspect, drug paraphernalia was found.

Mon. 24 Aug. 6:21 PM.  A male, 43, of 629 No. Av. Ext.,  Dunellen was arrested at 520 Greenbrook Rd. for DWI. No alcohol level reading in report.

Tue. 25 Aug. 11:37 AM.  A male, 29, of 73 S. Fulton St,. Woodbridge was arrested at Rt. 22 E. & Somerset for possession of a hypodermic syringe after being stopped for a traffic violation. A $500.00 warrant out of Plainfield was also found and served.

Fri. 21 Aug. 11:14 PM.  The police received a report of a burglary at an apartment at 450 West End Ave.  Entry was gained by climbing through an open bedroom window.  $4000,00 worth of items were stolen and the apartment was ransacked.

Thur. 20 Aug. 12:07 AM.  A male, 24, of 418 E.2nd. St., Plainfield was arrested at Locust Place & Rockview Ave. on an active $750.00 warrant out of Plainfield.

Wed. 19 Aug. 11:45 PM.  A male, 19, of 652 E.6th. St., Plainfield was arrested at Magnolia  & Rockview Ave. as the result of a suspicious person investigation. He was charged with hindering apprehension. A $500.00 warrant out of Plainfield was found for the suspect.

Sun. 16 Aug. 12:00 AM.  The owner of the Bridge Tavern, 54 Watchung Ave., reported the building had been burglarized between 14 & 16 Aug., no point of entry in report. Stolen were power tools, an amplifier, and bottles of liquor totaling $3,200.00

Sat. 15 Aug. 8:55 AM.  A female resident of 210 Meadowbrook Dr. reported her vehicle was vandalized while it was parked in front of her residence. The vehicle had numerous scratches on it. The vandalism took place between 14 & 15 August  and between the hours of 6:45 PM & 5:30 AM. The vehicle is a 2011 Ford Edge.

Thur.13 Aug. 8:18 AM.  A male, 36, of 301 Maple Ave. was arrested for domestic violence assault. He was released after posting $500.00 bail. The assault took place at 301 Maple Ave.

Fri. 13 Aug.11:13 AM.  A female, 47, of 128 E. Broad St., Westfield was arrested at headquarters on a $379.00 warrant out of NP. She was unable to post bail and was sent to the Somerset County Jail.

Wed. 12 Aug. 5:44 PM.  The police received a report of over 15 juveniles on bicycles broke 8 windows at 641 Somerset St. 641 Somerset St. is the abandoned building we know as the Villa Maria Property.

Wed. 12 Aug. 9:51 PM.  A female 34 of 24 Hamiltonian Apartments, Middlesex was arrested at Brook & Norwood Ave. on a  $689.99 warrant out of South Plainfield during a motor vehicle stop.

Fri. 17 April 5:37 PM.  A male, 45, of 26 Somerset Pl. was arrested at Somerset & Chatham St. for possession of marijuana after he was stopped to be served an active warrant.

Fri. 17 April 8:48 PM.  A male, 33, of 522 W. 4th. St., Plainfield was arrested at 200 E. 4th. St. by the Plainfield Police on an active $326.00 NP warrant and turned over to NP.

Fri. 17 April 11:42 PM.  A female, 33, of 820 W. Front St., Plainfield was arrested on Somerset St. during a motor vehicle stop on a $350.00 warrant out of Plainfield.  She was also charged for hindering apprehension when she gave false name to the police.

Sat.18 April 11:18 PM.  A male, 29, of 124 Tappan Ave. was arrested at his home on warrants from NP & Plainfield totaling $1,250.00. He was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia when a search incidental to arrest revealed a crack pipe.

Sun.19 April 2:49 AM.  NP Police responded to Watchung Av. & Pearl St. on a report of a stabbing. Upon their arrival they found Juan J. Dealcruz with a stab wound in the middle of his back. He was taken to RWJ Hospital in New Brunswick.  No address given for the victim.

Tue. 7 April 9:39 PM.  A female of Warfield Rd. reported 2 black males had attempted to enter her vehicle that was parked in her driveway.  The 2 suspects were detained but could not be identified by the victim.

Wed. 8 April 2:55 AM.  A male, 45, of 606 Berkman St., Plainfield was arrested at Chatham St. & Watvhung Ave. on a $503.00 warrant out of the boro.

Wed. 8 April 5:04 AM.  A male, 18, of 521 Greenbrook Rd. allowed a person to use his cell phone while at the intersection of Dahila Terr. & Greenbrook Rd.  This person attempted to steal the phone. The victim  got into a scuffle and was cut on the hand by a box cutter the suspect had. The suspect then fled the scene on a bicycle prior to the arrival of police.

Wed. 8 April 10:00 PM.  A male, 34, of 1145 W. 7th. St., Plainfield was arrested at Myrtle Ave. & Willow Ave. on a $300.00 warrant out of the boro during a motor vehicle stop.

Thur. 9 April 10:30  AM.  A female, 41, of 440 Somerset St. entered headquarters to report her drivers license lost.  She was arrested when it was found there were 2 active boro warrants for her.

Mon. 30 Mar. 1:57 AM. A male, 28, of 1008 Arlington Ave., Plainfield  was arrested for disorderly conduct at the Mi Mundo Latino Bar 375 Somerset St. The arrest was the result of a fight at the bar.

Mon. 30 Mar. 7:20 PM. A male, 21, of 1071 Plainfield Ave. was arrested at Myrtle Av. & Sycamore Av. on warrants  from the borough  & Bloomfield totaling $750.00 . The arrest was made as the result of a resident reporting a suspicious vehicle in the area.

Fri. 27 Mar. 1:48 AM. An employee at a store at 865 Rt. 22 W. reported her black Nine West purse was stolen. It contained cash and several other valuable items. The name of the store was not in the report.

Fri. 27 Mar. 2:15AM.  A male, 26, of 74 Washington Ave. was arrested at his home on a $1,030.00 N.P. warrant.

Wed. 25 Mar. 10:43 AM. A burglary to the abandoned  residence at 31-35 Grove St. was reported. Stolen from the residence was an unknown amount of copper as well as 9 radiators. It is unknown when the burglary to place.

Wed. 25 Mar. 2:33 PM. A female, 23, of 280 Chelsea Blvd. Plainfield was arrested for hindering apprehension during motor vehicle stop on Netherwood Ave. She also had ad outstanding warrant out of Watchung for $376.00.

Wed. 25 Mar.8:07 PM. A male, 52, of 1300 Rt.22 E. dumped the bumper from his vehicle on the borough easement at  Arnold Ave. & Warfield Rd. The vehicle owner was involved in a motor vehicle accident on 3/6/15 causing the bumper damage. He then dumped the bumper on 3/24/15. A citizen reported the incident which led to the investigation.

Wed. 25 Mar. 10:03 PM. A female, 36, of 1802 Wilshire Ct. Hillsborough was arrested at Washington Ave. & the city line by a North Plainfield officer that recognized her as having active warrants from the Somerset County Prosecutors Office.

Tue. 17 Mar. 3:32 PM. A male, age 47, of 1275 Rock Ave., reported someone caused $350.00 in damage to his vehicle by scratching it with a key. The vehicle was parked in the lot at 1275 Rock Ave.

Tue. 17 Mar. 9:00 PM. A female, age 18, of 62 Edgewood Terr. So. Bound Brook, reports she was assaulted by a friend’s father at 304 Grove. St.

Tue. 17 Mar. 9:00 PM. A resident of Cypress Apartments on Rt. 22 W. reports her apartment had been burglarized between 6:30 & 9:00 PM this date. Multiple items were taken  with a value of $2.300.00. No point or method of entry in report.

Wed. 18 Mar. 2:30 AM. A male, age 21, of 60 Myrtle Ave. was assaulted and robbed at Myrtle Ave. & Gerard Ave. The victim reports the actor stuck a  sharp metal object, possibly a gun or knife, in his back anc took his white I-phone 5C, a wallet with about $3.00 in it, his NJ drivers  license, a Visa credit card, and other forms of identification.  He was then punched in the head and jaw. It is unknown how many actors there were.

Tue. 10 Mar. 5:16 PM.  A female, age 34, of 15 Wilson Ave. reported she believes that damage to a railroad tie, used as part of a retaining wall on her property, was caused by the front end loader being used by the NP Dept. of Public Works. Estimated cost of the damage is $50.00.

Fri. 13 Mar. 4:08 PM.  A resident of the 600 block of Warfield Rd. reported someone stole one of the registration plates from her vehicle when it was parked in her driveway. This took place between 3/10 & 3/13/2015. The registration plate number was not listed in the report.

Fri.13 Mar. 6:10 PM.  A male, age 25, of 126 First St., Elizabeth was arrested on a $500.00 North Plainfield warrant. The subject was brought to headquarters by the Plainfield Police.

Fri. 6 March.10:11 AM.  A male, age 42, of 65 Fairview Ave. was arrested for aggravated assault when he struck a pedestrian with a motor vehicle.  This happened during a dispute.

Fri. 6 Mar. 11:08 AM.  Residents of the apartments at 401 Rt.22 E. report they returned to their apartment and found that it had been burglarized.  An investigation found that entry had been gained through an unsecured living room window.  Stolen were numerous credit cards, $4,800.00 cash a gold watch and $300.00 worth of hair extensions.

Fri. 6 Mar. 11:03 PM. Clinton Ave. & Greenbrook Rd.  The occupant of a Nissan Maxima assaulted a passenger of another vehicle at this location as the result of road rage.

Sat. 7 Mar. 10:52 AM.  A male, age 46, of 46 Grove St. was arrested for contempt of court out of Plainfield.  This took place at his home during the execution of a $500.00 warrant.

Sat. 7 Mar.12:12 PM.  A male, age 30, was arrested at Craig Pl. & Somerset St. on a $169.00 outstanding warrant from Fanwood. This took place during a motor vehicle stop.

Sat .7 Mar. 2:02 PM.  A female, age 39, of 8 Orchard Ave. reports a burglary to her home that took place between  3-3-15 at 7:00 PM and 3-6-15 11:00 AM.  She believes the suspects were the former owners of the property and that they returned to collect some of their belongings that had been left behind.

Sun. 8 Mar. 1:32 AM.  A male, age 23, of 835 W. 3rd. St., Plainfield was arrested for disorderly conduct  at 403 Somerset St.

Sun. 8 Mar. 4:10 AM. A female ,age 25, of 1275 North Ave., Plainfield, was arrested for DWI in front of 71 Pearl St. when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Sun. 8 Mar. 5:47 AM. A male, age 34, of 54 Valerie Drive Manville was arrested for DWI at Brook Ave. & Watchung Ave. where he was involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Sun. 8 Mar. 2:31 PM.  A male, age 34, of 1227 E 2nd. St., Plainfield was arrested for contempt of court on warrants out of Carteret & Plainfield, totaling $1,500.00.  This took place at Grandview Ave. & Norwood Ave. during a motor vehicle stop.

Sun. 8 Mar. 10:19 PM.  A female, age 35 of 1122 E. 2nd. St,. Plainfield was arrested for contempt of court when during a motor vehicle stop it was found that there was a $2,500.00 warrant out of South Plainfield, and a $267.00 warrant out of Plainfield.  No location of the stop listed.

Mon. 9 Mar. 1:48 PM.  A male, age 54, of 322 Franklin Pl., Plainfield was arrested for contempt of court at the Plainfield Police Station on a $500.00 warrant out of North Plainfield.

Tue.10 Mar. 10:37 AM. A male, age 46, of 520 E. 6th. St. Plainfield was arrested for contempt of court at Forest Brook Dr. & North Dr.. during a motor vehicle stop.

Tue. 10 Mar. 3:41 PM.  A female, age 19, of 39 Grove St. reports some unknown person punctured the front and rear tires on the driver’s side of her vehicle. This took place between the hours of 10:30 PM 3-9-15 and 5:30 AM 3-10-15 at Grove St. & Prospect Pl. no suspects at this time.

Sat. 28 Feb. 2:15 AM.  A male, age 22, of 553 Raritan Rd., Linden was arrested for DWI at Rt. 22 E. & West End Ave.

Sat. 28 Feb. 10:53 AM.  A male, age 41, of 49 Waner Ave., Piscataway was involved in an argument and was subsequently run down by a white pick-up in front of 31 Steiner Pl. that fled the scene.  No suspects at this time.

Sat. 28 Feb. 2:34 PM.  A male, age 45, of 648 Townsend Pl. reports damage to his tent was caused by a cigarette burn. He believes his neighbor is responsible.  The cost of the  damage is estimated at $200.00.

Sat. 28 Feb. 8:16 PM.  A male, age 24, of 352 East End St., Plainfield was arrested at the International Club, Somerset St. & Grandview Ave., for resisting arrest.  When the police arrived at the club they observed the actor exhibiting tumultuous behavior, shouting obscenities, flailing his arms around, and pushing people.   He refused to obey the police instructions to calm down and had to be placed in handcuffs and be transported to headquarters.

Sun.1 Mar. 12:23 AM. A male, age 36, of 11334 Evans St., Beltsville, MD reported he was assaulted at the Bridge Tavern, 54 Watchung Ave. by an unknown male. The victim reports he was struck on the head with a metal object. The victim was transported by North Plainfield Fire/ Rescue, to Somerville for medical treatment.

Wed. 25 Feb. 6:30 AM.  A female, age 43, of 146 Watchung Ave. reported someone stole her 2002 Acura RSX, sometime during the course of the evening, from a street next to her residence. No further information.

Wed. 25 Feb. 7:39 PM.  A male, age 31, of 1330 South Ave., Plainfield was arrested at Manning Ave. & Westervelt Ave. for hindering apprehension when he gave false information to a police officer during a motor vehicle stop.

Thur., 26 Feb. 9:15 PM.  A resident of 401 Rt. 22 East reported  the between the hours of 7:30 AM & 9:15 PM someone entered his apartment and stole $2000.00 in cash and 4 years worth of income tax paperwork.  No information on how entry was gained.

Fri.27 Feb. 12:29 AM.  A male, age 21, of 174 Duer St. was arrested at Craig Pl & Duer St. for possession of a hypodermic syringe after being stopped for not having a headlamp on his bicycle.

Mon. 23 Feb. 6:28 PM.  The attendant at the gas station at 421 Somerset St. reports someone drove off without paying for $34.30 of gasoline.

Sat. 22 Feb. 1:30 AM.  A female, age 43, of 13 Melrose Ave, Plainfield was arrested for DWI at Grove St. & Linden Ave. after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation.

Sat. 22 Feb. 12:06 PM.  A female, age 83, of Orchard Ave. reported her vehicle had been burglarized while parked at Mercer Ave. & Washington Ave.  The passengers side window was broken and electronics were stolen from the vehicle.

Sun.22 Feb. 8:40 PM.  A male, age 58, of 48 Bay St., Stirling was arrested for DWI at Linden Ave. & Somerset St.  It was found that there were 2 outstanding warrants from Bound Brook for this person.

Fri. 20 Feb. 10:24 PM.  A male, age 21, of 1822 W 4th. St., Dunellen was arrested for possession of marijuana at Myrtle Ave. & Sycamore Ave. after he was stopped for walking in the middle of the street.

Tue. 17 Feb. 5:15 AM.   A borough resident reported he parked his car in the area of Manning Ave. & Westervelt Ave. overnight.  When he came  out of his home  at 5:15 AM, the car was not there.   No vehicle information  listed in the police report.

Mon. 16 Feb. 12:57 AM.   A female, age 40, of 1006 Clinton Ave., Plainfield was arrested for DWI at Clinton Ave. & Warfield Rd. following a motor vehicle accident in which she struck a vinyl fence and ran into the embankment of the Costco property.

Thur. 12 Feb. 9:43 PM.  The police attempted to stop a vehicle at Myrtle Ave. & Sycamore Ave. for a traffic violation.  The vehicle accelerated at a high  rate of speed and fled from the police. The pursuit  was terminated by the shift commander as the vehicle was heading east on Rt.22.

Fri. 13 Feb. 1:09 AM. A male age, 23, of 1223 W 4th. St., Plainfield was arrested  in front of 20 Willow Ave. for DWI during a motor vehicle investigation.

Wed. 11 Feb. 6:46 AM.  A male, age 32,  of 67 Summit Ave. reported his 1997 customized Acura was stolen from in front of his house between 8 PM  10 Feb.  & 5:56 AM 11 Feb.  The value of the vehicle is $5000.00.

Tue. 10 Feb. 5:24 PM.  A resident of the apartments at 301 Maple Ave. reported he left his Ipod unattended on the trunk of his car for about 30 minutes and it was stolen.

Tue. 10 Feb. 8:18 PM.  A female resident of 11 Rockview Ave. reports she asked a male friend of hers who was walking by the residence to assist her with a problem she was having with her car. The male said he needed  to use her cell phone for light, she gave him the phone. He then struck her in the face with a closed fist and fled the area with the phone.

Be vigilant, report any unusual activity to the police at 908-769-2937 or if an emergency  call 911.

A resident of the 100 block of Rockview Ave. was assaulted and threatened with a machete at Orchard Ave. & Rockview Ave. around 5:38 PM Friday 6 Feb. as he walked home.  As he walked on Willow Ave/ near Orchard Ave., he noticed a male riding slowly on a bicycle.  At the intersection of Orchard and Rockview Ave., another male that had been walking behind the victim pushed him to the ground. Both assailants demanded money and threatened the victim with a machete.  A willow Ave. resident heard the commotion and and called the police. As this person started walking toward the noise, one of the assailants told her to put the phone down and pointed the machete at her.  She continued her call.  The assailant fled west on Rockview Ave. and are described as Hispanic males, possibly 15 or 16 years, old wearing hoodies.  The victim was taken to RWJ Hospital in New Brunswick where  it took 5 stitches to close a wound.

Sun. 8 Feb. 3:04 AM.   A male, age 19, of 226 Jefferson Ave. was arrested at Cedar St. & Maple Ave. during a motor vehicle investigation for possession of marijuana.

Sun. 8 Feb. 9:42 AM.   A male, age 25, of 1355 . E 7th. St., Plainfield, was arrested at Rt.22 W  & West End Ave. during a motor vehicle stop for possession of marijuana.  Motor vehicle summonses were issued for driving while suspended and improper safety glass.

Fri. 6 Feb. 3:01 PM.  A male, age 60, of 1165 Rt. 22 W. reported someone stole his sunglasses from his vehicle while it was parked at 1165 Rt.22 W.

Fri. 6 Feb. 7:49 PM.   A male reports someone stole his Samsung Galaxy cell phone.  The victim stated he left the phone in the toilet of the Quick Check, 395 Somerset St.  When he returned a few minutes later to retrieve it, the phone was gone.

Thur. 5 Feb. 9:37 AM.  A male, age 80, of 209 Glenside Pl. reported he sent a person, who claimed to be from Capital One Bank, Money Pak Green Dot cards in the amount of $2,996.00 to secure a $15,00.00 loan from the bank. This action turned out to be a scam.

Thur. 5 Feb. 12:13 AM.  A male, age 25, of 361 Jerome St., Brick was arrested at Mountain Ave. & Oneida Ave. during a motor vehicle stop for possession of marijuana.  A motor vehicle summons was issued to the same person for unclear plates

Wed. 4 Feb. 11:35 PM.  A male, age 19, of 189 Dukes St,. Kearney was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop at Mountain Ave. & Somerset St.

Tue. 3 Feb. 8:00 PM.  A male, age 47, of 145 Manning Ave. reported he had been assaulted by his landlord because he did not have the rent money on time.

Tue. 3 Feb.3:02 AM.  A male, age 42, of 300 Central Ave. Plainfield, was stopped at Mountain  Ave, & Verdon St. for failing to cross in a crosswalk.  During the investigation it was found that there were active warrants out of Fanwood , Plainfield and Hagerstown Md.  The subject was turned over to the Somerset County Jail.

Tue. 3 Feb.9:31 PM.  A male, age 41, of 425 E 7th. St., Plainfield was arrested for giving false information when he was stopped at Manning Ave. & Somerset during a motor vehicle stop.  When the correct name was established, an active warrant from Plainfield was found.

Tue. 3 Feb. 9:50 PM.  A resident of 268 Jefferies Pl. reported someone stole 4 of her rings.  The value of the theft is $2,720.  No other information in police report.

Wed. 28 Jan. 11:40 AM.  A male, age 20, of 218 E.9th. St., Plainfield was arrested  on Leland Ave. during a motor vehicle stop for hindering apprehension.

Sat. 10 Jan.12:19 PM. A female, age 37, of 221 Westervelt Ave. reported someone illegally used her identification to purchase $113.00 of merchandise at Walmart in Watchung.

Thur. 22 Jan. 2:45 PM. The manager of Quick Check, 395 Somerset St., reported a black male shoplifted 10 boxes of candy by placing them in his jacket and left the store. The  estimated value of the candy is between $300.00 & $400.00.

Sun. 25 Jan.1:45 AM. A male, age 42, no address listed, reported someone stole his denim jacket which he left hanging on a chair at the Mi Mundo Latino Bar, 375 Somerset St. In the jacket were his house and vehicle keys.

Tue. 20 Jan. 12:33 AM. A female, age 23, was arrested at Myrtle Ave. & Sycamore Ave. during a motor vehicle stop a when hypodermic syringe and marijuana was in her possession. The investigation revealed there were also several outstanding warrants for her.

Tue. 20 Jan. 7:08 PM. A male, age 23, of 100 Myrtle Ave. was arrested at Geraud Ave. for possession of marijuana when the police were investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area.

Tue. 20 Jan. 6:21 PM. A female, age 26, of the apartments at 301 Maple Ave. reported someone entered her apartment through an open window and stole her laptop computer.

Tue. 20 Jan. 11:29 PM. A male, age 21, of 515 W. 7th. St., Plainfield was arrested during a motor vehicle stop at Clinton Ave. & Greenbrook Rd. when marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in his possession. During the investigation it was found that there was an outstanding warrant from Seaside Heights for this male.

Mon. 19 Jan. 4:51PM. An employee of Landmark Pharmacy, 345 Somerset St., reported a black male was observed taking an unknown amount of Advil without paying for it. He then fled south on Somerset St.

Mon. 19 Jan. 11:24 PM. A male, age 19, of 112 Duer St. was arrested at 64 Somerset St. when during a motor vehicle stop, marijuana was found in his vehicle.

Mon. 19 Jan. 11:23 PM. A male, age 20, of 263 Duer St. was arrested for possession of an alcoholic beverage under the legal age when the vehicle he was in was stopped for a motor vehicle investigation at 64 Somerset St.

Fri 16 Jan. 5:00 PM. The resident of 13 Beech Lane reported his home was burglarized. When he returned to his home at 8:15 PM, he found that someone had entered his home through a second floor window by using a wooden ladder that was found leaning against the house. The dressers and closets were searched by the burglar. It is not sure at the time of the report what was stolen.

Fri.16 Jan. 7:30 PM.  The residents of 11 Beech Lane reported their home was burglarized.  Entrance was gained through a rear bathroom window. Stolen from the bedroom was jewelry and loose change. The residents were not sure of the value of the items stolen at this time.

St. 17 Jan. 9:47 PM. A male, age 23, of 428 W. Second St., Plainfield was arrested for hindering apprehension when he used another’s identification to avoid the fact that he was driving while on the suspended list and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. This took place on Watchung Ave. during a motor vehicle stop.

Sun. 18 Jan. 2:26 AM. A mal, age 62, of 518 Watchung Ave., Plainfield, was arrested for DWI at Advance Auto Parts Rt. 22 East.

Sun. 11 Jan. 9:38 PM. A male age, 38, of 328 West Cambria St., Philadelphia PA, was arrested by US Marshall’s, assisted by the North Plainfield Police, at 64 Somerset St. on a warrant for being a fugitive from justice out of Springfield Mass. e was turned over to the Somerset County Jail pending extradition.

Sun.11 Jan. 10:00 PM. A male juvenile was robbed at knife point  at 478 Somerset St. The robbers are described as 2 black males wearing dark clothes and construction boots. The amount stolen was $10.10. North Plainfield Police units searched the surrounding area with negative results.

Sat. 10 Jan. 12:40 PM. A female, age 18, of 65 Coddington Ave. was arrested at 19 Fairview Ave., 2nd. floor, on an outstanding, no bail, warrant from Somerset County Family Court.

Sat. 10 Jan. 2:29 PM. A male resident, age 37, of 58 Willow Ave. reported he observed a small window at the front entrance of the residence had been broken by an unknown individual. Cost of repair is estimated at $200.00.

Sun. 11 Jan. 9:15 AM. The manager of the Quick Check 395 Somerset St. reported an unknown black male, about 50 years old ,5’10 in height, med. build and wearing a long blue ski coat, dark pants and brown boots, was observed concealing a package of Polar Ice Gum in his coat. When the manager attempted to stop this person from leaving, he fled on a bicycle. The value of the gum is $20.00. Several police units checked the area to no avail.

Sun. 11 Jan.11:56 AM. A male, age 40, of 181 Sanford Ave. reported when he went to his vehicle he found that someone had smeared feces on the windshield and drivers’ side door of the vehicle.

Tue.13 Jan. 12:05 PM.  Rencor Inc. reported a burglary at 588 Rt.22 East. A saw worth $800.00 was stolen from one of their sea box containers.

Tue.13 Jan. 6:28 PM.  A resident at 450 Oakridge Ave. reported a scam. She received 2 voice-mails on 5 Jan. from someone that identified himself as an employee of the US treasury Dept. When she returned the call she was told, by a male who claimed he was from the US Treasury Legal Dept., that she owed $3000.00 in federal taxes from 2010. He advised her to purchase a money order from Western union and call him back with the validation number and if this was not done immediately the sheriffs dept. would be at her residence to arrest her.  The victim told the male she would call the IRS at which time the male hung up.

Sun, 11 Jan. 9:38 PM.  A male age 28 of 328 West Cambria St., Philadelphia, PA was arrested by U.S. Marshalls, assisted by the North Plainfield Police, at 64 Somerset Street on a warrant for being a fugitive from justice out of Springfield Mass.  He was turned over to the Somerset County Jail pending extradition.

Thur. 8 Jan. 12:36 AM.  A male age 40 of 73 Beechwood Rd, Summit was arrested at Regent St. & Somerset St during a motor vehicle stop for operating an unregistered vehicle, when it was found he had marijuana in his possession.

Tue. 6 Jan.7:00 AM.  The manager of the apartments at 351 North Dr. reported someone threw a rock though the manager’s office door.

Sun. 4 Jan. 11:51 AM.   A male age 24 of 76 Grandview Ave. reported his 2006 Honda was stolen from the street in the area of Grandview Ave. & Verdon St. Value of the vehicle is $11,000.00.

Mon. 29 Dec.8:23 PM.  A male age 26 of 67 Mountain Ave. was stopped at Leland Ave, & Mountain Ave. for a motor vehicle violation . The driver gave a false name.  Further investigation revealed his license was suspended.

Mon. 29 Dec. 2:12 PM.  A female came into headquarters and reported someone had opened  an account with Verizon, using her Identification.  She reports this took place in 2010.

Mon. 29 Dec. 1:50 AM.  A male age 46 of 596 Valley Rd. Gillette was arrested on Steiner Pl. for DWI.
